Sleep Disorder Center
At one time or another, everyone has had trouble falling asleep or staying asleep or has felt sleepy during the day. But people with sleep disorders frequently experience these and even more serious symptoms. In fact, one in three people have a sleep disorder, yet 95 percent remain undiagnosed.
If you’re having trouble sleeping, help is just minutes away. The DeKalb Regional Medical Center Neurology and Sleep Clinic offers a fully accredited program to help you deal with sleep disorders. Comfortable bedrooms offer a quiet place to rest while specially trained technicians monitor your sleep. The sleep center can test up to four patients each night.
The sleep center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The center tests for 90 different sleeping and waking disorders, including sleep apnea—a disorder characterized by brief interruptions of breathing during sleep.
You don’t have to deal with sleep disorders on your own. For more information about sleep studies at the DeKalb Neurology and Sleep Clinic, call 256-845-0345 today.
